A column on page 14 of the April 20 edition of the Kane County Chronicle requires clarification. When Susan Carlson started with the Elgin Symphony Orchestra, the orchestra was a professional group. It went from being a community orchestra to a professional orchestra under the tenure of Maestro Robert Hanson.
