Rosary High School will be hosting its 12th annual Road Scholars 5k Run/Walk on Sunday, May 20. The course runs 3.1 miles through the residential west side of Aurora and returns to the high school. Registration will be at 8 a.m., and the event will start at 9 a.m.
Registration fee is $20 in advance and $25 on race day. Students from Rosary or Marmion Academy registration fee is $5 in advance and $10 on race day. The family rate is $50 in advance (maximum four participants).
Registration forms are available on Rosary's website www.rosaryhs.com/pages/events_5krun.asp ($1 convenience fee added to online registration) or at Rosary and must be postmarked no later than May 10. Support the walkers at the Fox Valley Great Strides Walk for CF at Pottawatomie Park. This 3 mile walk along the Fox River raises funds and awareness for Cystic Fibrosis. To get involved and donate to help, visit www.greatstrides.cff.org.
Featuring a wide selection of local produce and other small businesses, the Geneva French Market, which is operated by Bensidoun USA, has 40 vendors each Sunday.
